Event: 'Human Rights and Counter-Terrorism: A Conversation Between Judge Kipfer and Fionnuala Ní Aoláin'

Gloria Gaggioli to moderate the conversation between Judge Daniel Kipfer Fasciati, former Ombudsperson to the ISIL (Da'esh) and Al-Qaida Sanctions Committee of the United Nations (UN) Security Council, and Professor Fionnuala Ní Aoláin, UN Special Rapporteur on the promotion and protection of human rights and fundamental freedoms while countering terrorism.

The conversation, hosted by the Geneva Academy, will focus on the implications of sanctions and other multilateral counter-terrorism measures on human rights and humanitarian law.
