Ilya Sobol participated in the workshop ‘Old and new threats to freedom of expression: Can the European Court of Human Rights meet the challenges?’ co-organized by Centre for Fundamental Rights at the Hertie School, the European Convention on Human Rights Law Review and the University of Liverpool School of Law and Social Justice, International Law and Human Rights Unit, where he presented his ongoing research on the topic of ‘Glorification of terrorist violence and the European Court of Human Rights and limits to criminalisation’.
